ABOUT
Pooja Charitable trust is registered in the year 2013. We are primarily focusing on the holistic development of senior citizens, specially-abled, rural women and children in Shivamogga and Chitradurga villages(Ayanur, Harnahalli B.Durga Chitrahalli, Chittanahalli, Gunderi, Malladihalli and Palya) by creating awareness on environmental issues, women and child rights. We have also successfully conducted eye camps and surveys on laborers.

During the COVID-19 vaccination drive at the CDPO Office in Shivamogga District, Pooja Charitable Trust distributed free masks to participants, benefiting around 100 people.

Pooja Charitable Trust distributed food kits along with daily essentials such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, and soaps to the underprivileged in Shivamogga city. This compassionate initiative provided crucial support during the pandemic, benefiting approximately 1,500 people.
Covid update

The COVID-19 outbreak caused informal sector workers to lose their jobs, making it difficult for them to afford even a single meal. Our team supported them by distributing dry ration kits containing essential food items.
Covid health camp

When the pandemic struck, vulnerable communities faced panic due to limited access to accurate information. To address this, our team organized a health camp in rural areas, where we monitored temperatures, distributed sanitizers, and educated people on social distancing and other measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
COVID -19 food relief service

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Pooja Charitable Trust conducted an outreach program by providing cooked meals to the homeless and distributing food kits to over 300 underprivileged individuals in various areas of Shivamogga.
Celebrating womanhood on International women's day in Mandya and Shivamogga

We organized a big congregation in Shivamogga on behalf of International Women's Day. The program was organized with a motive to apprise the women about their rights and justice by displaying the banners and slogans. Collaboration with various women’s organizations we held a rally to celebrate International Women’s Day in Mandya. The Women in the rally were demanding justice against crime and gender-equal society. More than 2500 women were part of this program
Sustainable and livelihood program in Chittanahalli

To promote the use of solar energy and to empower women, solar roti making machines and xerox machines were distributed to women SHGs of Chattnahalli, Shivamogga district. Around 20 women were benefitted by this program.
